After a stint in sales and marketing at Eli Lilly France, Remy joined Gaumont as head of sales in the Theatrical department, handling films such as Nikita (Luc Besson) and My Father’s Glory (Yves Robert) before moving on to International Sales for Europe, Latin America and Eastern Europe. By 1998, he was handling French TV sales as well as film financing with long-time producer Alain Poiré. Two years later, he was at TF1, the leading French Free TV, taking care of feature films, series and TV movies acquisitions for 12 years and becoming vice president of TF1 Films Production in 2008. During this tenure at TF1, he also saw the creation of Catch Up TV, TVOD and SVOD. In 2013, Remy founded Malberg Pictures, a distribution, production and consulting company, and has been involved since in the production or distribution of fiction and documentary feature films, series and animation.
